# Why can't the student see which keys I'm pressing?

If the student cannot see the highlighted keys on the virtual piano:

1. On the Piano panel, find and click the **"Settings"** button.
2. In the menu that opens, locate the **"Show pressed keys"** option.
3. Make sure the switch next to it is **active (lit green)**.
4. If the switch was off, turn it on.

After this, the student will be able to see which keys you are pressing.

**Also note:**

* The key highlighting feature is only available in the **desktop and tablet versions** of the app. If the student is connected via phone, they will not see this indication.
* Ensure the student has a **stable internet connection** for timely data transmission.
